Description:

The increasing importance of sustainability in new build is demonstrated in this major project at Canary Wharf. This extensive green roof incorporated four oasis/pools which were designed to accommodate ground nesting birds, in particular the native breeding Black Redstart which the RSPB aims to re-establish in this part of the Thames hinterland.
