Our Glasgow branch, led by branch Manager Allan Doris joined a team for a clean up activity carried out around the Glasgow University Development, close to a Multiplex Site.

There were 25 volunteers (9 of them children), with ages from 3 to 65. A total of 24kg of rubbish was collected, including some items; full roll of sellotape; socks; headphones; and ladies garments.

The clean up initiative was welcomed by the local community
- One child was given £5 by a stranger as thanks for cleaning up the park
- We had about many thank yous from random people
- Lily and Rose at the Grove, gave all the children free ice cream as thanks for doing the litter picking
- There was Easter Eggs as prizes given to all of the children, we ensured all children won and some of the bigger children also won
- Luca Doris handed out all the eggs to the children and prize winners
