BriggsAmasco has an exemplary health and safety record spanning many years, which the company strives to maintain. The latest award further enhances this hard-earned reputation for delivering professionalism, quality and safety at every one of the 1200+ projects that the company completes every year.

Safety training is a priority, with BriggsAmasco employing a national training manager and two full time safety advisers to ensure the workforce constantly updates its skills and safety performance. The company has also introduced a ‘behavioural’ training programme, rolled out across the entire workforce, which promotes a positive safety culture and more proactive approach to dealing with on-site safety.

The ‘Safety in Roofing’ Awards Scheme helps to promote a positive attitude towards health and safety amongst NFRC member companies. Externally marked by an independent panel of health and safety experts, only the best trade members are recognised and rewarded.

As well as the Silver Award, BriggsAmasco was the first UK national roofing contractor to achieve ‘Investor in People’ status. The company has also been approved by Achilles, CHAS and Constructionline, alongside accreditation under the Safecontractor scheme, demonstrating the company’s continued and unrivalled commitment to the highest standards of health and safety.
