Description:

Leading roofing and waterproofing specialist, BriggsAmasco, has successfully designed, supplied and installed three separate roof systems at the £80 million redevelopment of the National Theatre on London’s Southbank.

The combined merging of the new innovative build, in conjunction with the careful preservation and refurbishment of the established building is an essential part of this programme. BriggsAmasco’s designers were challenged with merging advanced design with the existing construction, whilst ensuring the resulting amalgamation would blend in perfectly with the established design of London’s Southbank.

This combination is being achieved through the installation of IKO felt which ensures the excellent waterproofing desired from the build will be attained. The IKO single ply was specified as an extremely versatile waterproofing solution and is ideally suited in assisting the integration of the new and existing construction.
