On Wednesday 28th October, BriggsAmasco hosted a special gala evening to celebrate the company’s 150th anniversary at the Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street in London – one of the capital’s most exclusive venues and home to one of the highest public parks in the world.

Beneath the famous glass dome at this prestigious London address, three storeys of exquisitely landscaped public gardens welcomed people from across the roofing and waterproofing industry. One of the special guests, Andy Williamson from IKO, presented Managing Director Dave Maginnis with a stunning 150th anniversary cake.

“We’re really excited to be celebrating our 150th anniversary,” said Dave Maginnis, Managing Director. “This prestigious and well-attended event provided a perfect opportunity for us to give something back and thank all the members of our team and supply chain that have been so crucial to our long term success.”

“To celebrate our anniversary we have also produced a commemorative coffee-table book. It highlights our growth from a small asphalt manufacturer with just two employees into one of the UK’s leading roofing and waterproofing specialists.”

Recognised throughout the roofing industry for being synonymous with quality, BriggsAmasco remains committed to improvement, innovation and adding value at every opportunity.  With 125 staff members helping to deliver over 1,200 projects each year, BriggsAmasco is looking to stay on top for another 150 years.
