BriggsAmasco has shown its continued support for the annual Willmott Dixon Trainee Weekend by donating roofing materials for the summer house renovation at Demelza Children’s Hospice in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Every year Willmott Dixon chooses a selected charity and dedicates a day to raising money and refurbishing a facility during a single weekend. On September 21st more than 100 trainees – using materials generously donated by some of the company’s subcontractors – worked together to completely transform the hospice’s garden area.

“We were delighted to donate our roofing materials and it was great to see so many trainees giving up their time to ensure the project was a success,” said Dave Maginnis at BriggsAmasco. “Demelza is a fantastic charity and a great cause as it provides amazing support for young people and their families when they really need it.”

BriggsAmasco takes part in a number of charity initiatives, from sponsoring events to donating materials. The company prides itself on encouraging employees, customers and suppliers to utilise their skills and time through a range of volunteering and fund-raising efforts.
