    BriggsAmasco Customer Satisfaction Survey

I would like to commend your staff in their tidy way of working, their courtesy and consideration, enabling services in the church to continue as the work has progressed. The tidiness, and organisation of the site has also been impressive, as has your staff’s willingness to explain what was going on and when.

I have been very pleased that the work has been able to be carried out so swiftly after the acceptance of the tender. It is good to have a new roof on the church, particularly as parts of the old roof constituted a safety hazard as bits were falling off.

The one piece of work carried out not on contract was a repair to a wall damaged by a contractor’s vehicle. This was swiftly carried out, and a previous dislodgement of bricks on an adjacent wall was repaired at the same time (thank you!)

As I write all that seems to be required to return the external appearance to pristine condition is the re-erection of the cross on the entrance roof, and the re-bolting of the handrail to the wall, which was dislodged and repaired. The church has its busiest service of the year this Friday (Good Friday) at 3:00 with the liturgy of the solemn Passion of Christ (The other churches of the parish, too, will be busy this weekend as the celebration of the Easter liturgies moves from one to another). I thank you, in particular that the new roof is in place and the site is clear in time for these celebrations.

Roofing Work at S.Chad’s Toller Lane

Following our P.C.C. meeting last night, I have been asked by our members to write and thank you for the work recently undertaken by your Company, on our behalf, on three flat roofs of the Church.

A few brave souls (not the ladies I hasten to add) ventured on to the roof to admire the handiwork and expressed their delight at the quality of work. Unfortunately, it is not very often these days to see such a good quality of workmanship, and if and when we require further roofing work, we will not hesitate to contact you. We have also passed these comments on to Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust, who agreed a grant towards the work and also WREN who are actually providing the funds using the Landfill Tax credits of their waste-recycling group.

Once your invoice is received I will pass this on to our Treasurer for payment and thereafter should be obliged if you would be kind enough to return the receipted account to myself, as I need to forward this to Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust for them to release the grant.

Again many thanks for a job extremely well done.

    Kind Regards
Secretary acting on behalf of S.Chad’s P.C.C.

Hall Road Primary School & Collingwood Primary

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the quality of work and professionalism shown at both of the above projects.

With regards Hall Road Primary School you commenced work at very short notice to complete the nursery building (following severe wind damage), which reduced the closure time of the nursery. Both the head teacher and myself were pleased with the manner in which the work was completed, the quality of the roofing work, and the approach of all of your staff to liaise and work with the school to minimise any disruption to ensure the continued smooth running of the school.

At Collingwood Primary School the head teacher and caretaker have already commented on how approachable and helpful your staff on site are, and their willingness to work with the school to ensure that the staff and pupils have not suffered any undue disruption to their school. It is pleasing to confirm that the work on site is being completed to a high standard, and is also on programme. I have every confidence that the high quality of work will continue, and look forward to working with you in the near future.
